Misprints and More! (Limited Time)
Over the last few months we have been collecting misprinted originals, leftover discontinued items, and shirts received from our manufacturer that didn’t quite meet the vision.
Please note: There is a mystery element to ordering from this list... you may receive either a block-printed or screen-printed version of the design (though they will all be discounted at the lower priced screen-printed version) and the color options for t-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies range beyond what is currently available on my shop, so each item will be a small surprise!
A Grade - These pieces are perfect quality! They found their way onto this listing by having a slightly altered ink color, being an experimental color way, or getting discontinued. Garments may have one large print on the back with a small pocket print on the front, a printing method that has been since been discontinued on VesperTwine.
B Grade - These pieces have minor imperfections that are more likely to be noticed up close. This could include the block shifting, causing an "echo" effect, areas a bit too distressed be be considered A grade, or small missing bits of the print. Any specified imperfections from "A Grade" T-shirts may also be present on these shirts.
C Grade - Garments in this grade will have more notable imperfections. This could include a very distressed finish, a print too dark with loss of detail, or noticeable areas of the print missing. Imperfections from "A and B Grade" T-shirts may also be present on these shirts.
D Grade - These pieces are at the lowest tier because they all have significant issues. Some of these could be a print on the back of a shirt without a pocket print on front, a small tear in the fabric, a misaligned print, significant loss of detail, or a "double" print causing an unclear image. Imperfections from "A, B, and C Grade" T-shirts may also be present on these shirts.
All sales final.
Every block-printed item is handmade by VesperTwine's owner and artist, Cali. The block-printing process requires a three-day drying time which allows the ink to sink into the fabric of the garment. This gives every item a seamless, comfortable feel. Because every block-printed item is handmade, they all have unique "chatter" marks and areas of distress, making every shirt an original piece. If you'd like to know more about block printing, there's a step-by-step process on the homepage!
Care guide: Wash on a cold setting with a mild detergent. Slight fading on the first wash is expected due to excess ink.
Every screen-printed item is made to have the same look and feel as the original block-printed t-shirt but with a wider color range. After creating the block-printed t-shirt, a vector image is made and sent to a family-run screen-printing company based in the U.S. to be printed. If you'd like to know more about this process, there's a step-by-step guide on the homepage!
Care Guide: Wash on a cold setting and dry on a low tumble. Please do not iron these shirts.
