Who are we?
Hey there! VesperTwine was created by me, Cali, as a way to share my art and find a community of likeminded people. When I started, I had no idea it would turn into something more than I could dream. If you’re here, I’ll wager you’re someone who searches for the unique in the mundane, the individual in the ordinary. It is people like you that allow me the honor of sharing my art with the world and with you. Because art made by people, for people, deserves to be seen. About us
Cali officially started VesperTwine in 2021. What began as passion project while she completed her degree, meant much more to her by the time she graduated. She was faced with a choice: Get a steady job, or see where her art would take her. You can guess how that one turned out.
The Art of Block Printing
VesperTwine will always have its roots planted deeply in the massive—and extremely heavy—printing press Cali invested in years ago. Even now, most of the designs you’ll find on VesperTwine come from an original lino print; a process that involves various tools, sharp objects, bandaids, and a lot of time. Block-printing in itself represents the core values of VesperTwine: handmade, unique, and rooted in the vast history of human art.
